Sci-Fi Night (May 13)

Science Fiction Night kicks off the new schedule with local Game Designer,  E. McNeill, and local Musical Group, Digital Lizards of Doom (DLOD), joining us from 7-9 at Tabletop Commons. Mr. McNeill will be introducing you to his newest Virtual Realty Real-Time Strategy game, Tactera! Check out the trailer below.

"Tactera is a VR Real-Time Strategy game set on a virtual holographic tabletop. Inside a futuristic command center, a holographic display lets you see beyond the fog of war. Build swarms of gunships, tanks, bombers, and other units, and use your hi-tech view of the battlefield to strategically outmaneuver the enemy. -- E. McNeill"

Digital Lizards of Doom will be joining us for dinner before the show at the Merrow, and will be raffling off tickets to the show for our customers! Make sure not to miss your chance at free tickets -- and if waiting isn't quite your style, buy your tickets to the show by clicking here.

Legends of the Colosseum & Play-Test Tuesdays (May 14 & May 17)

Safehaven Games is a local San Diego game design company who has just recently launched their newest game, Legends of the Colosseum! In addition to the Hillcrest Craft Beer Crawl, he will be demonstrating his newest project from 1-3 on Saturday, May 14th.

In case you miss the first go-around, Safehaven Games will also be joining us on May 17th, we'll have one of the game's designers here at Tabletop Commons demoing LotC for you and your friends!

Legends of the Colosseum is a 2-3 player skirmish game designed to be simple enough for the novice gamer, and challenging enough for more experienced players. The game plays similarly to the miniature games we all know and love, with added dimensions of Pen & Paper gaming in the campaign play-format. Check out the full game on May 14th & 17th!

Local Game Designers, we're looking for you!

Tabletop Commons is excited to help the ever expanding community of game designers in our back yard grow in exposure! If you, or someone you know, has a game they'd like to let the public look at, demo, and play-test contact our Event/Game Host by emailing Doriam directly at tabletopcommons@gmail.com

We are excitedly working with UnPub Mini SD to provide a second venue for game designers to meet and debut their work. For more information about UnPub Mini SD, please see below!
